Fueling up for the wonders of nature with a trans fat lunch

Sunday morning we went to the Roger Williams Zoo.  We got a late start because Phoebe slept in but made up time by skipping the giant anteater.  Ellie got hungry about halfway through so we headed to the snack bar where Phoebe spotted the massive display of sour cream and onion potato chips.  I had to hear about chips the entire time we waited for our food and even after putting all the usual distraction mechanisms in place could not alter her target.  Given that I am known to have a chip meal now and then I couldn’t be too hard on her.Above:  I like this photo because the lighting makes it look like we are standing in front of a green screen.  Also Phoebe is putting together a look fit for Zoolander and my face is showing signs of fatigue that can only come from an imminent collision of the tenure and family express trains.  Below:  Phoebe has yet to discover the fun of hair and ear pulling so I am taking full advantage of the opportunity to carry her on my shoulders.
