Two Hurdles

We had a minor break in the weather so we hustled the ladies outside after morning swim classes.  The neighbor kids were out tooling around on their two wheeled hardware which brought me relief as they are just as adept as we are at monitoring.  Cristin read Vogue magazine from the way back of the Subaru and I managed to clean the trash out of my car.   This is only the second time I have seen Ellie on her scooter and she is really doing well.    The ladies assisted the neighbors in building a snowman and when Ellie was napping we convinced Phoebe to sit for a movie. Movies or any new shows in general give her tremendous anxiety.   It could be an issue of control but her imagination gets the best of her and she generally refuses to watch anything out of the tiny subset that she has deemed safe to watch.  After some prodding, she gave in to Cristin’s suggestion to watch the aristocrats and she really enjoyed it.    Along with building a snowman this marked the defeat of two sources of anxiety for Phoebe in one day.
