23 Years

The Mulvenas, Itratos, and Dineens joined us for the annual Cornell get together (see 2012 and 2011).  We had one new addition this year, the very cute and amazingly well tempered Eloise.  The weather did not cooperate and this was a moment in the morning when I thought the whole thing would be canceled but apparently I was the only one with that mindset.  We never made it to the beach but there was enough sun to inflate the waterslide and the kids played on that more or less continuously for about five hours.   Phoebe kept up with the bigger kids including Cael who is many standard deviations larger than the average size kids of his age.  Maeve as usual kept everything in line with the little ones.  It was good to catch up with everybody.  The Dineens stayed for a good dinner and both of our kids were asleep before I turned out their lights.
