Ellie Assimilates Solids

Cristin decided it was time to make a horrible mess so she got out the rice cereal and crammed it into Ellie’s mouth.  I will apologize up front if Cristin sounds a bit like Chucky in the video.  I would blame it on the microphone.  Ellie did a decent job learning to eat, for a human at least.   I tried the rice cereal again and was reminded of how bad it tasted.  I find it interesting that something so bland doesn’t taste good.  There must be some psychology involved since I would rather imagine it should “not have taste” but it seems that our brain, well my brain at least, only perceives things as tasting good or bad.  Must be something to that.  Anyway she is coming along having had her first swim lesson and brush with solid food in the same day.
