Patent Crisis #4062
Another weekend, another patent crisis. I placed a call to Gaga and headed to work Saturday morning while Cristin took the girls to gymnastics. I met them there and off we went to Chatham. The kids don’t appreciate how close we live to their grandparents but the exercise of counting the exits on the mid-Cape seems to pass the time. I am sure my parents did the same thing with Sarah and myself. The girls would probably would be happier if we lived further away because Chatham is too short a trip for the DVD players. It was a bit of a blustery day but I had packed winter stuff and we spent as much time as we could in the yard. Ellie took the wheel of the jeep and needed no help maneuvering it around, a stark contrast to previous visits where I was constantly pulling her out of the bushes. Phoebe seemed a bit put off by Ellie’s domination of the Jeep but got into a soccer game with Puppa and quickly forgot about it. After outside time, Gaga made them hot chocolate and we had macaroni twist and a quick shower and headed home. They were both asleep by the time I hit the mid-Cape. A solid day.
