Gaga Day
Every other wednesday or so is Gaga day. Usually she will walk them to the library where they spend a few hours and then they go to the town wharf and get lunch and ice cream and play at the bandstand and then they walk home. Last wednesday it was too cold for the walk so I picked them up at the library and had the chance to see what they were up to which seems to be playing with the computers. I am still not sure what they learn on these but it is funny to see them interacting with them. Gaga has all the shortcodes memorized for escaping out of the apps and or restarting the system. The first time I touched a computer was somewhere around 1981. One of the kids in our class had an Apple II (image below) and we got in a bus and drove to her house to see it. There was no mouse and the graphics were quite crude but it was fascinating nonetheless. Interesting to see what the next 33 years brings.
