The Old Man Awakes

Winter has fallen on us.  It also has fallen on a yet to be covered boat.  The girls were waiting anxiously for the first snowfall. but ultimately Ellie gave the whole thing a solid thumbs down.   We did practice putting gloves on and off and I if they can manage that I think we should be able to get outside a respectable amount.   It is sad and strange that the kids will probably ride their vehicles only a handful of times between now and March.   This does give us opportunity to work on some more intellectual activities.  This week that included shooting rudy with a spring-loaded foam ice cream cone and listening to Katy Perry’s roar about 50 times while dancing to a psychedelic light show.
