Acknowledging the Cost of Freedom with Gluttony

On veteran’s day weekend we took the ladies to the Capron Park Zoo.  It is a small zoo containing a number of dangerous animals including three 400 lb+ lions.   We had taken the girls here about 18 months before and not much has changed.  The male lion is impressive and he does a lot of talking and the sound emanates throughout the Park.   Probably the most entertaining bit was watching the kangaroos interact with the maintenance guy who was operating a leaf blower in their paddock.  All of them scrambled away with the exception of one brave kangaroo which kept harassing the guy to get back scratches and  have his fur blown out.  After the zoo we went to a dairy and the kids had “cone head” sundaes (yet another good idea stolen from Friendly’s).
