A Tradition is Born
We went to the New England Boat Show with the kids and a new tradition was born: Drop the kids at Tootsie and Poppi’s house for the weekend and then go to the boat show without them – sorry kids! I am happy to expose them to any learning experience out there with one exception – the boat show. I need my boat fix and somehow it was just impossible this time around. How can I fantasize about how I would spend my great wealth when my 18 month old is tumbling down a companionway? Maybe when they get older we can go or perhaps we can do a double trip weekend, one with kids and one sans kids.

Above: Fairly tight in the Harbor 25 but Ellie has plenty of room. Below: After considerably quibbling between the kids, Cristin decided it was worth the money to put a faux second wheel station on the boat. I pointed out that a good sportfish boat will have a least two helm stations as does the new Jeanneau 379 – absolute sweetness.
Above: Ellie checks on the v-berth on a Jeanneau while Phoebe tests out the quarterberth. This turned out to be one of her favorite boats, but primarily it was the pillow that won her over.
