Visit from the Floridians: III

Chick and Loeta made their annual trip north this week following similar venture covered on the blog from 2010 and 2011.  It was a spectacularly beautiful august day.  Last time they brought Hurricane Irene so I guess they owed us.  Mid 70’s, blue skies dotted with a a few cumulus clouds and nearly no wind.  We picked up everybody at the gas dock and took them across BB to woods hole and then to Hadley Harbor on what was our 20th trip on the boat this season.  Upon return we went the Kinsale for lunch.  It is under new ownership and the service was very slow but the food was excellent and the kids were good.  Afterward lunch we let Phoebe run around in the park.  Phoebe was shy with her relatives at first but turned around as the morning progressed.  Ellie was initially skeptical of Chick but he was determined to win her favor.  By the end of the visit she was snuggling with him.  Gaga got better photos so I promise to update the post once I can get them off of her camera.Above:  A good day to make this trip with six adults and two kids.  Below:  Chick finally wins over Ellie.
