Inquisition
Lisa and Luke visited from the big city today. We had lunch on the boat and then took it over to Marion and picked up a mooring. Luke had a lot of questions about the motors and what various cables and tubes did. He was very curious about the fuel system and was a bit unsatisfied when I told him there was no way to view the connection between the fill cap and the tank. Lisa was concerned about me having to take care of him while she chatted with Cristin but essentially that involves answering series of questions. On the way over to Marion there were some short young waves and somehow in that rough motion Ellie conked out in Cristin’s arms. Cristin managed to transfer her to the cabin and she got in a reasonable snooze. We had got a rather late start and decided that Phoebe would be fine without a nap. This theory was ultimately rather unfounded.
Above: I am not sure what was happening but the Luke had Phoebe in hysterics with that line. Below: The driver seat is Phoebe’s choice when underway. It is pretty comfortable.
Above: Lisa and Luke. The bench seat has proven to be a good choice. Below: Ellie is crashed out in her Canadian-approved but not U.S.-approved life jacket. Cristin setup a well-engineered system to keep her in place.
