… is nicer!

There is a history of competition between Mattapoisett and the adjacent town, Marion, over which is nicer.  I actually like them both but since I live in Mattapoisett, I will continue backing it.  On friday we walked down to the swings at the beach and onto the wharf for ice cream after dinner.  Believe me, I do not take for granted that we can do this, but Phoebe will until she is about 25.   During summer the wharf hosts twice monthly classic car rallies and there was a fine collection of autos on display with muscle cars from the 60s and 70s and hot rods from the 50s.  What was really shocking was that there was a mid-80s Aries K and Mustang in the mix, both of which met the 25-year requirement for classic. Clearly though, age should not be the only criteria.  I think anything Lee Iacocca oversaw should not be eligible.
