Happy B’day Tootsie!, again!
We re-celebrated Tootsie’s birthday a week after our first celebration. This was okay with me because it meant I could go paddleboarding on the Charles and have dinner at the Cottage which is a good place to go if you are a glutton. I had ahi tuna nachos and calamari and some artichoke fritters for appetizers followed by fish and chips for dinner and about half of Phoebe’s ‘make your own sundae’ for dessert. I am not sure what it is about that place but even without carbonara it is one of my favorite menus around. It probably helped that we dined in relative peace for nearly two hours. I have also found a use for my mixed-handedness in that I can feed Ellie and myself simultaneously.
Above: Phoebe would follow them anywhere. Below: Ellie is generally happy as long as she is eating. I am not sure what I fed her but she ate two packets of it. I didn’t even have to give her the disgusting chew sticks that Cristin bought.
Above: clockwise from bottom: Ellie, Megan, Lindsay, Dave, Cristin, Phoebe, Ann, Olivia, Peter. I was so stuffed I didn’t even eat those onion rings although I do wish they were here with me right now. I believe that Dave’s thumbs up is a sign of “coercion”, similar to this situation. Below: This was the best of about 20 shots of Tootsie and the ladies (minus Ellie).
