Happy Terrifying Birthday Phoebe!

We celebrated Phoebe’s second birthday in Mattapoisett with all the local relatives present, sauf Momo.  The birthday theme was “Frosty” or perhaps more generically “snowmen”.  Cristin made individual snowmen cakes for the little ones with two body segments each.  The adults enjoyed an ice cream cake from Friendly’s.  Phoebe received lots of fun presents and kept declaring “it was fun” after everybody had departed.  Everything went as Cristin had planned except for Phoebe’s reaction to the snowman costume that I had adorned.  After putting it on and sneaking out our side window and waving to our neighbors, I rang the doorbell and immediately induced pure terror in my own daughter on her day of joy.  It was worth it for this classic 15 second video clip.
