Christmas, Pt. I
Christmas was a three-part series this year which was fun and exhausting at the same time. Pt. I took place on Christmas Eve at our house. The stocking were hung by the never-used chimney with care (actually with cheap hangers from Target) and the tree this year was probably marginal in terms of its Charlie Brown classification. It was an enjoyable experience as Phoebe was not quite at the age of rip and tear and had to be encouraged to keep moving. Cristin started the excellent tradition of making pancakes but I will modify that tradition next year to use a non-fancy batter. Fancy is rarely better. It just costs more.
Above: Rudy takes the high ground in his first confrontation with a polar bear.
Above: Ellie sported her one-time use outfit. You might be thinking that it is extremely unlikely that I purchased that. You would be correct. Below: Phoebe unwraps her Richard Scary “biggest book ever”, a title that is probably not justified but boldly stated in the manner of the MLB’s “World Series” or bodybuilding’s Mr. Universe. Based on what I have seen on the SciFy network, it is quite likely that if an alien were arrive on our planet it would be considerably stronger than Arnold in his prime. Regarding the world series, the MLB should just feel fortunate that the countries that field strong athletes don’t (rightfully so) care about baseball.
