Phoebe ver Magnusson

I had to work most of the day so I took Phoebe to Ned’s Point in the morning to blow off some steam.  It was a spectacularly beautiful fall day.  Phoebe is very into rocks at the moment so I coaxed her into trying to move one of the boulders and watched her struggle for some time.  That she didn’t give up concerns me as that is a directly analogy to my current travails.  I think that instead of passing along “winners never quit” to Phoebe, I am going to tell her that “winners know when to quit” which is probably more accurate.  When we got back to the house Tootsie and Poppi had arrived and despite Phoebe’s chanting for Mo Mo, Aunt Maura was nowhere to be found.
