More Bad Parenting

By the time my brain processed the notion that having Phoebe push swings around might require some oversight, she had taken the full brunt of the return to the cheek (seen below).  Given that the package of one of her very first toys advertised  “demonstrates that actions have consequences”, I am surprised that she wasn’t able to predict that gravity would have brought that swing back to her.   The swing may provide more effective instruction.
