Feel the Freedom

Babies change your life.  Probably the biggest change for Cristin is that she had to trade in her Audi for something a bit less sporty.  I very much likes the new car.  The fact is that, practically speaking, the Audi would never had actually exceeded 50% of its top speed on U.S. roads and if you really want to feel excitement, you get yourself an Ariel Atom or a sportbike.  It is a bit like trying to get excited about sailing a J24 after you have been kiteboarding.  Also, I still have my GTI.

The downside of having more space is that, out of concern for forgetting something critical, it will be inevitably be filled.  Bumbos, two bouncy chairs, cribs, and Geoff’s favorite pair of Salmons before they went sour are featured in the pic taken below shortly before the 2010 cape cod vacation which featured “spider bites” which we now know are probably bed bugs.  It never occurred to any of us that it is unlikely that a spider is going to get into bed and randomly bite you during the night.
