Wanted: kidney for Maura’s cat

Tyrone has chronic kidney failure.  Aside from losing 38% of his body mass, not much has changed in terms of his day to day.  I guess one other exception would be that I have to inject him every night with fluids to keep him hydrated and interested in eating.  He puts up with this because he gets treats and eight weeks in we are nearing the 2-gallon point.  If only we had him cloned so we could harvest some organs.  He could live to be 30.  Above:  drip drip, another SQ session.   Below:  Bugs knows that when Tyrone is with me on the counter, treats are not far away.
